I have a Pioneer (MTC26T42) screen that i'm borrowing from a friend but I can't get the resolution to work. I'm using 1920x1080 on my laptop and I want to use the same one on this screen. However, whenever I choose this resolution it gives a message that 1280x720 is the recommended resolution, and it switches to this one. Now the weird part is that when I try the 2nd highest resolution (1680x1050) it works fine. Also, I tried using the "duplicate these displays" option, and then it works fine on 1920x1080, so the screen can definitely handle the resolution I want. I'm really out of options, I tried everything and it's driving me crazy.
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
